Salford outreach
People over the age of 60 living in Salford can benefit from our information and support scheme. It’s a bit like a short course – which runs for 2 and 1/2 hours every week for 7 weeks.
You’ll get all sorts of information, advice and support from services including:
- Salford Welfare Rights Bureau
- Greater Manchester Police
- Salford Social Services (sensory, rehabilitation and mobility teams)
- Age Concern
- Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
- Salford Community Health
- Local Pensions Service
- Salford Ring & Ride
- Television switch over
And we will give you useful continuing information and support through our weekly information, support and activity groups.
"It has been a miracle for me finding this course. I’ve just moved to the area and I had no idea what was available or what I was entitled to. The course has inspired me to carry on doing things."
