I’ve done a Henshaws IT course

I saw Henshaws IT course advertised in the paper. It was a chance for me to polish my skills and learn new things. My wife is the secretary of two societies and I wanted to be able to word process letters and create letter labels for her.
The course builds your confidence and gives you hands on practice. I’ve built on my existing knowledge and learned brand new skills.

We all follow different programmes at Birkdale, and we all have our own folders with printouts of the work we have done so far.
I go to an Italian class, and it has been fantastic to be able to word process my homework. I have learned how to email my son in London, which is a great way of keeping in touch. I mostly use Zoom Text, and I also use a large print white-on-black keyboard.
My newfound computer skills are so advanced I’ve even treated myself to a laptop!
