IT Training
We offer IT training in Manchester, Liverpool and at other venues across the North West. The courses last a minimum of 12 weeks with weekly 2 ½ hour sessions. People who attend out IT Training courses will:
- Learn the basics of IT
- Use access technology (screen magnification and/or speech programs)
- Browse the internet and use email
- Build keyboard and word processing skills
- Work at your own pace
- Receive full support from Henshaws IT trainers
- Complete a course accredited by the Open College Network
We’re the first in the UK to take new mobile technology out to visually impaired people in the community, already helping over 700 people to get to grips with IT!
We run our courses in:
- Liverpool City Centre
- Old Trafford, Manchester
- Formby
- Birkdale
- Birkenhead
- Southport
We also have weekly drop-in sessions for people who want to surf the web, send emails, practice new skills and meet other people.
