Crown Green Road, Eccles
Crown Green Road is a block of six self-contained flats in Eccles, Salford. The flats are specially adapted for people who have a significant visual impairment and who may have additional disabilities.
Our service provides support to allow our residents to maintain their tenancy and develop independent living skills.
The tenants receive 3 hours of support every week from a tenant support worker. This support is unique to the needs of each resident, but would usually involve practical tasks such as:
- Claiming statutory benefits
- Paying rent and service charges
- Reading mail
- Accessing safe routes to shops, transport and medical facilities
- Arranging repairs, maintenance and adaptations to the accommodation
