Facilities on campus

Our gymOur ICT suiteOur dining room

Our purpose built campus is in a rural location on the outskirts of Harrogate.  We're close to local shops and community facilities.  And we have so many facilities of our own on campus!

Health, Fitness and Leisure Centre

The modern and accessible health, fitness and leisure centre has an accessible swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, multi gym, sauna, steam room, trampoline and indoor sports hall.  There's a common room with a flat-screen TV and drinks machines - and everything the students need to run their weekly karaoke and disco evenings!

PSE Centre

Situated at the heart of the campus, the PSE centre offers a safe place for students to talk with staff about any issues or concerns they may have.

IT and Multimedia suite

Our IT Suite has all the latest technology to enable young people with disabilities to access computers and the internet. It is open every day during term time and is accessible to students in their free time.  Our suite is so fantastic, it won the Becta ‘Next Generation Learning Award'!

Travel training

The College has its own bus stop and pelican crossing where all students can learn to safely cross roads, and board and alight from buses safely. Our tactile training area has examples of all the different types of tactile paving that may be encountered in towns and cities, so students can practice long-cane skills.

Restaurant

We have a modern dining room which offers a choice of hot and cold food every day, all freshly prepared in-house!  Individual dietary needs are met - and we hold the Healthy Colleges Standard.
